The service
AudioToText.dev converts audio and video recordings into text using automatic speech recognition. It is provided free of charge, with no account required.
Your responsibilities
- Only upload recordings you own or have permission to transcribe, and follow any laws in your country about recording other people.
- Do not use the service for unlawful material.
- Do not attempt to overwhelm the service with automated bulk usage. Fair-use limits may be applied to keep it free for everyone.
Accuracy
Transcripts are machine-generated and will contain mistakes, particularly with background noise, overlapping speakers or unusual terminology. Do not rely on a transcript for medical, legal, financial or safety-critical decisions without checking it against the audio.
Availability
The service is provided "as is", without warranty. It may be unavailable, changed or discontinued at any time. Stored audio is deleted after 24 hours, so please keep your own copy of anything you need.
Your content
You keep all rights to your recordings and transcripts. We claim no ownership and do not use them to train models. See the Privacy Policy for details.
